Resinous or “fluid applied” flooring requires a high level of experience and integrity to minimize risk of failure to the owner. At IPS, Larry and Jerry believe that building and maintaining healthy relationships is an essential part of their corporate success.

Our productivity revolves around a workforce of key men and women who derive a sense of purpose from our work and have helped us grow the business.

We learned to develop unique strategies by collaborating with each other to sustain constant improvements to our skill sets. Honest communication is the foundation that we have used to build trust with not only our workforce but also with our clientele.

Eco-efficiency is the ability to satisfy customer needs in a way that minimizes adverse effects on the environment, natural resources, human health, and safety. If you look closely at our story, you will discover recurring themes of using only green products, a focus on long life cycles, a desire to save our customers monies in the long term, and an empathy toward every person on the path with us.

IPS’ focus on relationships has created partnerships that further our trustworthiness in the marketplace and add value as well.

One of those long term partnerships is with Precision Industrial Services, a MBE partner located in Toledo, Ohio. Precision owns a state contract which allows us to work directly with tax supported entities with a pre-approved (by the State of Ohio) menu of services and prices including resinous flooring. Precision and IPS have an exclusive agreement for this service since 2007. The level of warranty and responsibility for state contracts is much higher than in the typical bid environment. The relationship has focused our behaviors to be authentic and rooted in integrity so that we can maintain the contract. It also drives us to constantly probe for better and better products and procedures.

To that goal, IPS is certified with a dozen different resinous flooring -manufacturing companies.

We have learned to better understand each type of polymer and the nuance among different brands. Another long-term alliance for IPS is Prime Coat Coating Solutions. Prime Coat only sells to “Alliance Contractors” that are properly trained and vetted for high levels of trust to ensure the customer experience is elevated accordingly. IPS works closely with PC to tweak some of the most unique and state of the art formulas in the industry. IPS is helping bring some new and innovative PC systems to market.

Lastly, IPS supports some worthy community causes by sharing products and skill sets.

Jordan’s Crossing is a local food pantry that not only feeds the homeless on a daily basis, but also provides rehabilitation services, health services, clothing, and laundry and shower areas for the homeless on the west side of Columbus and beyond. We also have recently supported a school in the Dominican Republic serving local and migrant worker’s children through Christian education. The school has added a grade every year for the past 10 years and is currently serving 357 children through 10th grade.
